I am wearing these pants for the first time and like them very much. the 65/35 is a good weight however I didn't do my homework very well as these are a boot cut so if you don't blouse your boots get another model. I'm told to try the straight Tactial Pant for a cargo pocket and a smaller lower leg opening.

I ordered these as a "tactical" pair of shooting pants. The number of pockets and their design were a plus. The 65/35 rip stop fabric wears as good as it looks. When washed inside out, as recommended, they present well without pressing. The size was true for me. There is a difference from the more costly 24-7 tactical pants which have an added button at the waist and hook and loop closers at each pocket flap. If you don't need the additional button and Velcro on the pocket flaps, these Gunny Approved pants will save you a few dollars.

I was issued a pair of these at work and prefer them to the optional 5.11 Tactical pants. While very similar I grew weary of the huge back pockets in the 5.11 pants. I also like the hidden elastic waste band in the Tru Spec as opposed to the "old man" look of the 5.11 pants. Bought a pair for my 25 year old son, father in law, and nephew. All of them want more. Pros: Fit, Normal Back Pocket, Plenty of Pockets Cons: One end of pockets sewn down

I ordered these because of previous experience with the Tru-Spec 24/7 pants. These are different from the last ones I purchased. I like some of the different features, but I REALLY miss the internal magazine pockets inside the cargo pockets, which they should have according to the description. Got a good price, so I guess it`s a matter of getting what you pay for. I like the fact that there is less Velcro, and I like the deeper rear pockets...but that doesn`t really make up for the missing magazine pockets.
